The penthouse of this historic circa 1913 Beaux Arts building became more expansive when John Robert Wiltgen Design teamed up with an architect to combine two units. With north, south and western exposures overlooking Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan, the design team created 3.5 new bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and walnut paneled library. During this interior renovation, architectural details consistent with the building's Benjamin Marshall architecture were added. This remarkable residence, located at 1550 North State Parkway, was designed to showcase the client’s extensive collection of museum quality contemporary art. | |
